About Dean Humphrey

I am Dean Humphrey, an Entry-Level IT Support and Networking Candidate based in Edmonton, Alberta, focused on building practical technical skills in systems support, troubleshooting, and network fundamentals.

My current work is centered on developing a strong foundation in entry-level IT support, including hardware and software diagnostics, operating system basics, technical problem solving, and structured troubleshooting methods. I am especially focused on learning how to identify issues clearly, break problems into steps, and work toward stable, practical solutions.

In networking, my areas of focus include TCP/IP, DNS, basic network communication, routing concepts, and the diagnostic thinking needed to understand how systems connect and communicate. I am building this knowledge through study, hands-on practice, and lab-based learning.

I am also working toward CompTIA A+ and Network+ certification goals. These certifications align with my focus on IT support, networking fundamentals, systems troubleshooting, and professional technical service. My goal is to continue developing a practical skill set that can support entry-level help desk, technical support, and junior networking opportunities.
